Woolen Spun

The wool we use in our yarns comes from our farm and from other small regional farmers. We carefully select the fibers that go in to our yarn. Our yarns, beautifully spun at Green Mountain Spinnery in Vermont are minimally processed with environmentally friendly wool scour. No harsh chemicals or artificial softeners are used. Our wool still feels like wool. This is a yarn you can happily wear close to your skin.

All yarns are dyed naturally on the farm where we also grow many of our dye plants.

Natural colors all harmonize well together.. Items properly dyed will retain beautiful color for years. We only use natural materials we know to provide lasting color and have been working with natural dyes for the past twenty years..

For garment longevity wash in cool water with a neutral pH soap and lay flat to dry.
